Instructions:

  1. Load your spreadsheet and create a new document.
  2. Set your font to Arial or Times New Roman at 12 or 14 points.
  3. Enter the title "Beaver Mountain Bike Tours Budget" and bold it.
  4. Add your name "Prepared by your name" and make it italics.
  5. Enter the data above. Calculate the yearly amounts by multipling the monthly amounts by 12.
  6. Use the SUM function to total the Income and the Expense.
  7. Net Income is calculated by the formula =Total Income - Total Expenses. Mentally check your calculations.
  8. Format all numbers with commas and no decimal places.
  9. Format the very top and bottom row of numbers to currency and no decimal places.
  10. Adjust column widths as needed so they are spaced evenly.
  11. Align column headings as needed.
  12. Adjust margins as needed.
  13. Preview, proofread, save, and print.
