Utah Desert Golf Classic
- Bar Graph of Scores
Introduction
Use the information from the spreadsheet of Utah Desert
Classic to create a bar graph of the scores. Also a set of
formulas will be printed out.
Objectives and Skills
- Create a bar, pie, or line graph
- Center titles
- Use borders, lines, shading to enhance the graph
- Change paper orientation to landscape
Instructions
- Use the Top Five Golf Scores worksheet to create a
graph
- Create a stacked bar graph using the golfer's name and the
scores for the both sets of 9 holes. (Do not include the 18 hole
totals.)
- Add a title Top Five Golf Scores. Change the font for
the title to about 24 points in a decorative font.
- On the sub-title line write "Prepared by....".
- Change the colors and shading on the bars if possible.
- Include the Players Name's on the X-axis.
- Add an appropriate title for the horizontal and vertical axis.
- Add a border around the outside if possible.
- Change the orientation of the paper so it prints landscape.
- Make any additional adjustments to prepare a well-designed
graph.
- Proofread, preview, save and print.
Formula Printout Instructions
- Use the Top Five Golf Scores worksheet.
- Display the formulas.
- Make any adjustments needed, including column widths.
- Save as a new worksheet and print.
