Introduction
Golf pass tickets need to be created for each player who will attend the Utah Desert Golf Classic. One ticket will be created and then copied to fill a full page (about 8 to 10 tickets).

Objectives and Skills

• Create ticket using a desktop publishing program or a word processor
• Use fonts and sizes to convey your message.
• Use centering, bolding, italics
• Use borders, lines, shading to enhance the ticket
• Insert a picture or graphic in the ticket
• Use the cut, copy, and paste features

Instructions

1. Open up the program you are going to use and change the paper orientation to either portrait or landscape as needed.
2. The size of the card will be about the size of a business card. (3 1/2" by 2")
3. Add border around the outside. You may use a single line, a bold line, shadowing, or a decorative border.
4. Add a title Utah Desert Golf Classic to the top of the ticket. Use a decorative font, about size 18- 24 points.
5. Add the additional lines in a more readable font, about size 12-14 points.

6. Add a graphic and resize on the right of the ticket.
7. Make any additional adjustments as needed to improve the layout of the ticket.
8. Save.
9. Copy the ticket and paste it until you have a whole page of tickets.
10. Proofread, save, and print.
